Second Bloom
Second Bloom was created from cotton sateen which I hand-dyed with rhubarb powder. A long-arm quilting machine was used to create a continuous looped pattern across the sleeves and front and back bodice. Thrifted fabric was repurposed for the collar, sleeve plackets, front band and hem. This incorporates an element of sustainable fashion and upcycling into the design.
